M Bacal Group is pleased to announce that Monette Malewski has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Conference of Advanced Life Underwriters (CALU). She has been nominated Chair of Membership.
CALU was formed in 1991 to provide services to members who specialize in the area of advanced life underwriting. CALU members provide personal financial, business succession; estate planning and employee benefit services to their clients, many of who are owners/ managers of small to medium size businesses.
CALU members provide experience and dynamic leadership for a wide range of activities designed to enhance the professional competence of advanced life underwriters.
CALU represents the interest of its members to Members of Parliament and officials of key federal government departments. It is also concerned with strengthening relationships with the members of the professional community and demonstrating its expertise in joint programming.
Membership is restricted to individuals who meet the professional standards set for admission to the organization.
